'Chicory' (Cichorium intybus)
Aka coffeeweed, blue sailors, succory.

A native of Europe.
Chicory is a summer perennial that develops from a basal rosette. Biennial. Blooms: May----October
Flowers are blue, remaining on the plant for only a single day. The flowers form on stems that range up to three feet in height.


 

Dandelion  (Taraxacum officinale).
AKA (Blowball, lionstooth, cankerwort, doon-head-clock) One of the most common broadleaf weed in lawns and gardens.

inkberry, poke. Its roots and berries are poisonous. Also it is a native American wildflower.

Velvetleaf  (Autilon theophrasti)

AKA Butterprint, Indian mallow, pieprint, cottonweed, American jute, Indian hemp.

This plant has broad, velvety, heart-shaped leaves. Yellow five-petaled flowers form singly in leaf axils (angle formed by leaf and stem.) Capable of growing to a height of 6 ft.

 (Glechoma bederacea.)  AKA Gill-over-the-ground, creeping-charlie, field balm. A member of the mint family. The leaves are opposite, rounded, slightly hairy, and heavily-veined with scalloped edges. A perennial creeper in Zone 7a.  Very invasive.
